Angelina is certified in genetic counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and licensed as a genetic counselor in the state of New Jersey. She earned her Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from Kean University, where she gained experience caring for patients and families across a variety of genetic specialties, with a particular passion for hereditary cancer. Angelina’s clinical experience, research background, and passion for patient advocacy shape her approach to genetic counseling. She strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health and their families. Additionally, her bereavement training with Pockets of Light further strengthened her ability to support patients and families navigating grief, uncertainty, and difficult decisions. During her graduate studies, Angelina was academically recognized by Kean University for her research exploring hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndromes and their impact on individuals and families. She presents her work at both local and national conferences and actively participates in cancer-focused professional and community events to promote awareness and improve care for individuals and families affected by hereditary cancer.
