Cory was inspired to pursue a career in nursing by his mother, a nurse whose compassion and dedication to others encouraged him to follow in her footsteps. His passion for patient care ultimately led him to become a nurse practitioner, where he strives to ensure his patients feel heard, respected, and are actively involved in their healthcare.
One of Cory’s favorite quotes, attributed to Albert Einstein, is, “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” This philosophy continues to guide his approach to patient care and motivates him to be the best clinician he can be.
Outside of clinical practice, Cory enjoys giving back to the community through mentorship with the Rutgers Future Scholars and Rutgers School of Nursing Educational Opportunity Fund programs. In his free time, he likes to stay active by playing pickleball, flag football, and softball. He also enjoys working with computers, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
