Kenisha found her calling in family medicine through a deep belief in the power of longitudinal care and envisioning a career that allows a physician to walk alongside patients through every stage of life and be present for the moments that matter most. Raised in a low-income family that led to several moves during her childhood, she witnessed firsthand how fragmented care and systemic barriers can fail patients, and this experience shaped her commitment to working with underserved communities. Her professional interests include obstetrics, fertility awareness, behavioral health, lifestyle management of chronic diseases, correctional medicine, and functional medicine. She is passionate about building trust within her community, advocating for the whole patient, and bringing preventive care to those who need it most. Outside of medicine, Kenisha can be found baking, cooking, hunting for the best croissant in town, discovering new artists, reading, and visiting local farms — always looking for ways to stay grounded and connected to the world around her. She is thrilled to be training at Hunterdon and looks forward to growing alongside her patients and community as a family physician.
