About Me
Dr. Hartigan is a board-certified urologist and urogynecologist with sub-specialty board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She serves as the Director of Reconstructive Urology and Pelvic Health at Hunterdon Medical Center.
In addition to general urology, Dr. Hartigan is highly trained to provide medical and surgical management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, urogynecology, neurourology, and pelvic floor reconstruction in both men and women. Dr. Hartigan also performs advanced bladder testing to solve the most challenging cases and provide the newest, most advanced treatment options, including many minimally invasive options and the utilization of the Da Vinci surgical robot.
Dr. Hartigan has also been designated a Center of Excellence for Medtronic InterStim and Axonics Bulkamid procedures, a highly coveted designation. She understands that many patients suffer silently from incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, but she strives to create a world where patients can have significant improvement in their quality of life. Dr. Hartigan offers a patient-centered approach to care, knowing the best treatment may not be the same for everyone. She discusses all appropriate treatment options with her patients, and together they decide on the best management strategy.

- Dr. Hartigan has presented her research at local, national, and international meetings. She is active in the editorial peer-review process for clinical journals and has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters. She is currently a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction, and the American Urogynecologic Society and serves on the board of directors for the Society of Women in Urology. She has been inducted into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha, and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hartigan has been nominated as Best Overall Specialty Care Physician for Hunterdon Medical Group.
