Dr. Kayal has worked as a faculty physician at Hunterdon Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program since 2010. In his role as core faculty, he assists in curriculum development and resident evaluation. His interests include maternity and newborn care, team-based clinical care, addiction medicine and point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS). He serves as the director for the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) course here at Hunterdon.
Dr. Kayal did his residency training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia Medical Center and served as Chief Resident during his third year. He did his medical school training at Rutgers (formerly UMDNJ) Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and graduated in 2007. He graduated from the University of Scranton in 2003.
He lives in beautiful Hunterdon County with his wife and five children. He enjoys playing and coaching soccer and basketball. Dr. Kayal enjoys spearheading the office's annual Milford Alive Community day bed race!
