The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Hunterdon Medical Center is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and as a result, establishes a foundation of clinical practice that can be applied in various professional settings. Hunterdon Medical Center Pharmacy Residency Program prides itself in developing highly qualified independent practitioners able to provide patient-centered care in various environments. The purpose of our PGY-1 program is for the resident to develop the skill set required to become a clinician, educator and leader in the pharmacy profession.
The PGY-2 Pharmacotherapy Residency at Hunterdon Medical Center is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists in conjunction with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. The purpose of this 12-month PGY-2 Pharmacotherapy Residency Program is to prepare the pharmacotherapy resident to become an independent practitioner eligible for board certification in a clinical pharmacy specialist or academia role.
