David J. Schmitt, MD

Dr. Schmitt is an experienced faculty member based out of Hunterdon Family Medicine at Phillips-Barber where he sees a large number of patients and regularly teaches medical students and residents. He periodically also rounds on the inpatient service. He graduated from Rutgers (formerly UMDNJ) New Jersey Medical School in 1992 and graduated from Hunterdon's Family Medicine Residency program at HMC in 1995, serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Schmitt lives with his wife and children in Flemington, NJ. His wife, Dr. Pisatowski, is a gynecologist with Advanced Obstetrics & Gynecology, LLC. His interests include colposcopy and office gynecology teaching in the weekly gynecology clinic as well as geriatrics and preventive medicine.
