Dr. Fontanilla has experience in the application of IMRT, brachytherapy, stereotactic radiation, and proton therapy. She has presented her research findings on gynecologic, breast, and pediatric cancer at national scientific meetings and has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles.

Awards and Honors
Dr. Fontanilla was nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and has received numerous honors including the AMA Foundation Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarship and Stanley S. Bergen, Jr., M.D. Medal of Excellence. She was selected as a research scholar at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the National Institutes of Health where she completed a one-year research fellowship. Dr. Fontanilla is also a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University.
