Praakruti discovered her love for family medicine during her rotations in medical school. She found things that she liked in each of her rotations but couldn’t see herself doing any of those specialties. Once she began her family medicine rotation it was like she found her calling. She enjoys the versatility of the field and the variety that she can encounter with people of different backgrounds and stages of life. The ability to establish long term connections with the patients and be able to provide preventative care are things that greatly appeal to her. Praakruti is excited to be back in New Jersey after 8 years of being in the Midwest and looks forward to serving her community. In her free time Praakruti enjoys watching and listening to true crime documentaries, working out and spending time with her family.
