Fundraisers

There are many options for you to organize your own fundraiser to benefit programs and services at Hunterdon Health: Social media campaigns, sports events, workplace collections, challenges, and more. Below are instructions on how to start your own fundraising page in support of Hunterdon Health. Please contact the Foundation at 908-788-6141 or foundation@hhsnj.org to learn more and plan your fundraising event!

Creating a Fundraising Page through JustGiving

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Access our fundraising platform: JustGiving
2. Click the "Fundraise for Us" button in the top right-hand corner.
3. Follow the prompts on the "Sign Up" page to create your own account.

Step 2: Choosing Your Fundraiser

JustGiving provides numerous event types that allows you to customize your fundraiser to your specific purpose. You will be brought to a page the looks like the following:

This page will allow you to select whichever event type matches the fundraiser you wish to host. If none of the pre-selections match the desired fundraiser, you can simply select "Doing your own thing" and create the event from there. 

Step 3: Creating Your Fundraiser

1. After selecting the event type, you will be prompted to enter in the details regarding your fundraiser including type of activity, when and where it is taking place, and your goal.
2. Next, you will be able to personalize your page.  You will be able to select your page title, customize your URL, and tell the viewer why you are raising money. This is your chance to tell a great story about your fundraiser to help engage potential supporters!
3. When you are finished with the above steps, simply click "Create Your Page". Your event is now live and you are ready to start your fundraiser!
4. You will be given the option to add more details to your fundraiser including pictures, stories, and other relevant information that will help promote your cause.

Step 4: Get The Word Out!

1. The best way to gain supporters of your fundraiser is to share it with friends, family, and the community! We highly recommend you promoting your event in all ways that are available to you. 
2. Please notify Hunterdon Health Foundation once you complete your JustGiving page so we can keep track of your fundraiser and help promote it! Please notify us if any of your promotional materials include a Hunterdon Health logo for approval before posting them.
