On November 7th, Hunterdon Health Foundation had the pleasure of hosting Hunterdon Health’s 40th Annual Crystal Ball, held at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset NJ, for the first time since 2019. This year’s ruby anniversary gala proved to be another success, raising $340,000 for the programs and services of Hunterdon Health and recognizing the 2022 Spirit of Hunterdon Honorees.
The Spirit of Hunterdon award is a long-time tradition honoring individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on Hunterdon Health and the community. This year’s honorees were Drs. Peter & Candice Teuber, the Community Spirit Honorees; Pegasus Emergency Group, the Corporate Honoree; and Joyce Gliniewicz, the Philanthropic Honoree. All were selected for their important contributions to improving community health through clinical practice and philanthropy. Guests were also treated to a testimonial video of Pastor Bryan Miller and his wife, Pam, telling their story about the lifesaving care Bryan received from Hunterdon Health and Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates.
Gala attendees enjoyed multiple entertainers, beautiful décor, great food, and music by the popular band 'Daddy Pop,' that had every guest on the dance floor. They also had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, with items including purses, sports and movie memorabilia, once in a lifetime trips and experiences, and a jewelry raffle sponsored by Hunterdon Health Foundation and Roman Jewelers of Bridgewater. Through a live auction, attendees enthusiastically gave to program and service needs of Hunterdon Health, including equipment, nursing education, and patient support.
The Hunterdon Health Foundation would like to give special recognition to our event sponsors: Atlantic Health, Duane Morris, Unity Bank, Clinton Honda, Jaguar Land Rover of Princeton, and the Eastern League Champion Somerset Patriots, Hunterdon Anesthesia Associates, Hunterdon Healthcare Partners, Pegasus Emergency Management, Hunterdon Hematology Oncology, Wright & Ford Funeral Home, Hunterdon Health Auxiliary, HealthQuest and Diamond Nation, MRO, NK Architects, SEI, ShopRite of Hunterdon County, and RRS. We are grateful for these sponsors, contributors to our auctions, and our guests for their commitment and support to Hunterdon Health and our community.
The Hunterdon Health Auxiliary hosted its Annual Lights of Love ceremony on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 7:00 pm. An evergreen tree on the Hunterdon Health campus was illuminated with lights, each representing gifts received from donors to honor or memorialize people who have touched their lives in a special way.
The Lights of Love ceremony was available to be viewed virtually on the Hunterdon Health Facebook page starting at 6:50 pm with live music. The program included a pre-recorded performance from the North Hunterdon High School Chamber Choir and live music by local musician, Robbie Sko.
This year, the Auxiliary presented the First Inaugural Lights of Love Award to two deserving recipients from Hunterdon Health and the community at large. The recipents were Dr. Arif Hafeez from Hunterdon Family Medicine at Riverfield and Rachel Wenrich-Laul from The Outreach Connection, Inc. They were presented with a certificate and their names will be engraved on a plaque displayed at Hunterdon Medical Center. They were honored for their service, social responsibility, mentorship and outstanding efforts to serve the community.
Proceeds from Lights of Love benefit services and programs which support patients, visitors and the Hunterdon community.
Please enjoy the 2022 Lights For Love Concert.
