Hunterdon Health Offers Free Breast Screening for Uninsured

Hunterdon Health will be hosting a free breast screening event for women age 40 years or older without insurance.  The event will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Hunterdon Women’s Imaging Center located at 121 Route 31 South, Flemington, NJ.

One in eight women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime and routine screening can help prevent cancers and/or provide early detection when treatment is often less intensive and more successful. Each participant will receive a clinical breast exam and one screening mammogram.  Hunterdon County Public Health Nursing will also provide health vitals including blood pressure checks, cholesterol, hemoglobin and glucose screening.
