Kids’ Car Wash Raises Funds for Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center

A group of children wanted to make a difference and give back to their community. Shiven Bansal, Saanvi Bansal, Myra Panthri, and Aayan Panthri, all from Raritan Township, organized a neighborhood car wash during the summer. 

“We wanted to do something to support Hunterdon Medical Center and decided to hold a car wash at our house.  We created flyers and distributed them throughout our neighborhood.  Our parents helped to make sure we had the right supplies, but we did all the work,” explained Shiven Bansal.  The car wash raised $1,400 and proceeds were donated to support Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.
