November Employee of the Month - Luz Reynoso
Here are just a few highlights from Luz’s nominations:
Luz has been an employee at Hunterdon Health since 2013, when she joined the float pool as a nurse intern. Two years later, she joined 5 South as a registered nurse.
Luz truly embodies all the core values of the organization, always willing to jump in, pick up shifts, or stay late to help.
Luz goes above and beyond every single shift she works here. She is committed not only to the patients but to the staff as well and puts the patient at the center of her decision-making to create the best outcome.
Luz is adaptive in numerous situations; for example, she will even go out of her way to transport patients in the hospital during the evening hours.
When there was a patient in an emergency situation, she stayed past her shift to help support the nurses as well as the family members of this patient.
Luz’s authenticity is exemplified when interacting with all staff members in the hospital. She has created great relationships with the staff and maintains a positive, solution-based mindset even under challenging circumstances.
Luz is supportive of her colleagues and provides the necessary tools to help her peers grow their skills.
Luz is inclusive to everyone in the hospital and takes the time to listen to their ideas and provides real-time feedback.
Luz is not only empowered to speak up when she has a concern, but also empowers the staff to speak up as well with their concerns.
I trust Luz's judgement and know the staff and patients are in good hands when Luz is on shift.
