Oncology Rehabilitation Services Receives Center of Excellence from Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute
The Oncology Rehabilitation Department at Hunterdon Medical Center is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a PORi BRONZE Center of Excellence in Oncology Rehabilitation by the Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute (PORi). This designation acknowledges the center’s dedication to clinical excellence in oncology rehabilitation and its commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based Physical Therapy for individuals affected by cancer.
The PORi Center of Excellence Program honors rehabilitation centers that demonstrate exceptional clinical competency and integration of PORi’s specialized oncology rehabilitation framework.
The BRONZE level specifically recognizes centers that have achieved:
· Completion of PORi’s comprehensive clinical coursework by their rehabilitation team
· Consistent application of PORi clinical assessment and treatment techniques in daily practice
· Commitment to advancing clinical skills and maintaining the highest standards of oncology rehabilitation care
