September Employee of the Month - Jennifer Wilson

Here are just a few highlights from Jennifer’s nominations:
•    Jen has worked within the Hunterdon Health System for the past 17 years. Two years ago, she was promoted to Office Coordinator for the Care Coordination Department. Jen is the department's left and right hand.
•    Jen demonstrates accountability and commitment daily. She is not assigned a task that she would not be willing to take on. One example is her willingness to monitor and maintain all the invoices for the Atlantic/Lyft transports throughout the facility (not only Care Coordination).
•    Jen is inclusive, coordinating with several members of our administrative team, such as Charles Kunkle (ER), Kathy Morgan (Cath Lab), Denielle Giuliani (2 Central), to name a few. Not only does she work with those departments, but she also interacts with billing, accounts payable, and registration on a daily basis.
•    Jen is seen as the “go-to” for all things transportation, and because of her attention to detail, has worked towards streamlining the process.
•    Jen has been adaptive and committed to patient care and safety. This is evidenced by her involvement in our last two crises. One being the fire on 5 West and the other being the earthquake, where she did not hesitate and jumped in, working with the 6th floor to ensure we were able to keep track of the locations of all of our in-house patients, working with Amy Robillard and Eleanor Damaschke, in conjunction with IS and ER registration.
•    One of the things I respect the most is how empowered and authentic Jen is. She never says, "That’s not my job", and she is always willing to think outside the box and greets us in the office every day with a smile. Jen is more than deserving of this honor.
