December Employee of the Month - Jay Lamparelli

Here are just a few highlights from Jay’s nominations:

• Jay is the Lead MRI tech and goes above and beyond more than any lead I know. I have worked here at HMC in other departments, so I can honestly say that.
• Our MRI department is extremely busy with outpatients and inpatients. Jay is not only the lead MRI tech, but he is also the department manager. He is like the EVEREADY battery that keeps on going and going. Jay is one of the hardest workers I know and he puts so much time and effort into this department.
• Jay is extremely dedicated. We have many inpatients and he goes to each floor to bring them down because transport is often busy at times. He also takes the time to train students and they always learn a lot from Jay. When they’ve completed their training some of our prior students have come back to work here as technicians. 
• I am so happy that I transferred here to MRI, mainly because of Jay. He is knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Jay has a way of making our patients feel very comfortable and explains everything to them so they understand and know what to expect.
• Jay is very upbeat and has a great personality. He is a team player and often comes in very early and will work a double when someone calls out.
• Anyone who knows Jay, speaks very highly of him. I admire his work ethic and because of Jay, we have a wonderful team. There are days that he doesn’t even have time for lunch because of the volume of inpatients that need to be seen immediately.
