February Employee of the Month - Deanna Cuomo

Here are just a few highlights from Deanna’s nominations:

• Deanna advocates for her patients, follows through with the plan, and empowers patients to ask questions. She adapts to each patient’s needs and provides excellent respiratory therapy care, including troubleshooting their home equipment on her time off and returning calls. 

• Deanna goes above and beyond to help our patients. She helps our patients with complex pulmonary disorders understand how to use their inhalers and CPAP machines. She is a team player and is always involved in quality improvement at our practice.

• Deanna is an essential part of the pulmonary team. She goes above and beyond with our patients during pulmonary function tests and always accepts patients for mask fittings and helps with a CPAP in between her busy schedule.

• Deanna exemplifies all six core values of Hunterdon Health to the highest degree. She is accountable and present each day. She adapts to the unexpected needs of patients, adjusting schedules whenever asked. Deanna performs tasks without being asked and is the first to jump to help fix something for the greater good of the office or patient. Deanna is genuine in her care and committed to offering patients the best care and expertise possible. She follows through on all cases and is a pleasure to work alongside! We are so fortunate to have her in our corner!

• Deanna goes above and beyond for her patients every day. She is an incredibly hard worker and goes out of her way to better the practice and make things easier for her patients. Deanna never says no to taking on something new. She is always educating her patients, and they rave about how great their experience with her was.

• Deanna is very accountable by always putting the patient first, and she is committed to better lung health for our patients in Flemington and Bridgewater.
