Hunterdon Health to Host Advance Care Planning Program
Did you know, that 92% of Americans say it's important to talk to their loved ones about end-of-life wishes, but only 32% have done so? It can be difficult, stressful, and uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be. In celebration of National Healthcare Decisions Day, Hunterdon Health will host a panel discussion by local professionals to help educate and empower our community. This event will be held Tuesday, April 16th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Ben Geishauser: Medical Director, Hunterdon Hospice, and Faculty Physician, Hunterdon Palliative Care
- Laura Suozzo: Social Work & Bereavement Coordinator, Hunterdon Hospice
- Reverend Chris Small: Chaplain, Hunterdon Health
- Robert J. Shanahan Jr., Esq.: Attorney & Founding Partner specializing in estate planning, elder law, Medicaid applications and guardianships
