Hunterdon Health Selected as Business Partner of the Year by Hunterdon County Vocational School District

Hunterdon Health has been selected as the 2025-2026 Hunterdon County Vocational School District (HCVSD) Business Partner of the Year!

According to the Hunterdon Vocational School District, “Hunterdon Health, represented by Kim Blanda, has been an exceptional partner and strong supporter of our district’s mission to prepare students and adult learners for success in their chosen career paths. Their collaboration spans across multiple programs, including Polytech, the Hunterdon County Academies, and HCVSD Adult Education.  To support our adult education programs, Hunterdon Health has generously allowed us to use their facility for Phlebotomy classes and donated a variety of expired training materials such as tubes, specimen samples, and arm bands. They have also encouraged their employees to participate in our CNA courses.”

Kim Blanda has been a long-standing and valued member of the Biomedical Sciences Academy Advisory Board, helping connect students and teachers with community resources and professional opportunities. In addition, Hunterdon Health has provided guest speakers for the Biomedical Sciences Academy, the Healthcare Science, and the Allied Health Professionals programs at Polytech.  Staff have organized tours for the Biomedical Sciences Programs as well.

Most recently, Hunterdon Health launched a job shadowing program that offers valuable real-world experience to students from Polytech and the Biomedical Sciences Academy.
