Raritan Township siblings Shiven Bansal, age 16, and Saanvi Bansal, age 12, have once again inspired their community through their summer tradition: a neighborhood charity car wash benefiting Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. This year’s event raised an outstanding $7,000, marking their most successful effort to date.
What began six years ago as a simple idea to give back has grown into an annual community fundraiser that neighbors look forward to each year. With help from family, friends, and local volunteers, the Bansal children spent the day washing more than 80 cars, greeting supporters, and rallying their neighborhood around compassionate cancer care close to home.
The car wash is one of several charitable initiatives organized through the siblings’ Shivsaa Foundation, created to continue their mission of “building community through giving.” Over the years, the Foundation’s efforts have contributed meaningful support to patients receiving care at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, helping to fund vital programs and services that bring comfort and hope during treatment.
Hunterdon Health Foundation extends its gratitude to the Bansal family, their volunteers, and the many community members who supported this year's fundraiser, demonstrating once again the power of local generosity.
