A generous $6,400 grant from the J. Leonard and Brigid K. Bailey Family Foundation has brought new gym equipment to the Child Development Center at Hunterdon Health, strengthening the center’s ability to serve children receiving physical and occupational therapy.
The upgraded equipment enhances the therapeutic gym space, providing children with new opportunities to improve motor skills, balance, and coordination in a playful and supportive setting. The updates come at a meaningful time—April is Autism Awareness Month, highlighting the importance of early intervention services for children on the autism spectrum and those experiencing developmental challenges.
The Child Development Center offers comprehensive evaluations and therapy services tailored to each child’s unique needs. This latest enhancement reflects Hunterdon Health’s continued commitment to meeting families where they are, with the tools and resources that make a difference.
