The Maternity Department at Hunterdon Medical Center is getting a beautiful new addition, thanks to the talented students of the National Art Honor Society at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. Under the direction of Mrs. Lindsay Hopkins and Ms. Nicolle Schuster, students are putting the finishing touches on a hand-painted mural that will soon be unveiled to brighten the space for new families. The project was coordinated in partnership with the Hunterdon Health Auxiliary as part of the A Star is Born program, which gives parents, grandparents, and loved ones the opportunity to make a donation in honor of a new baby. Each honored child’s name is then added to the mural—creating a lasting tribute to the newest members of the Hunterdon Health family.
The Auxiliary extends its heartfelt thanks to the student artists whose creativity and care have made this mural possible: Kimberly Komosinski, Lila Allorto, Francesca Edgar, Cycy Lustado, Lucas Romano, Isabella Barone, Mathew Kavchok, William Schott, Kathryn Connaughton, Shelby Manning, Gabriela Callejas, and Kam Ebright. Their work will soon bring a vibrant and joyful touch to the Maternity Department for all to enjoy. To learn more about the A Star is Born program, click here.
