Hunterdon Health Foundation Hosts Third Annual Main Street Half Marathon of Hunterdon & 4-Mile Walk
It was a picture-perfect fall weekend as more than 600 runners, walkers, and volunteers came together for the Main Street Half Marathon of Hunterdon and 4-Mile Walk, raising more than $35,000 for Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.
Festivities kicked off on Saturday, October 18, with the Packet Pickup Expo—held for the first time at Hunterdon Medical Center—sponsored by Hunterdon Anesthesia Associates. Families enjoyed a fun afternoon complete with a bounce house, popcorn, and treats, while racers picked up their packets, Hunterdon Health T-shirts, and custom shoelaces.
On Sunday, October 19, buses provided by University Radiology Group, the event’s transportation sponsor, shuttled participants to the starting line in Clinton. As the race began, cheers filled Main Street, while 4-Mile walkers gathered on Kiceniuk Road for a warm-up led by The MAX Challenge.
The finish line celebration at Hunterdon Medical Center featured live music from The Big Fuss and refreshments from Sunken Silo Brew Works—all made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.
Hosted in partnership with Pro-Activity, the event once again united neighbors, colleagues, and families to support cancer care close to home. Proceeds will benefit Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, ensuring patients across the region continue to receive exceptional, compassionate care without leaving their community.
