A comprehensive portfolio of recorded presentations is available for viewing at no cost. Topics span integrative health modalities and wellness; to patient advocacy, nutrition, early detection, and women’s and men’s health.

Several educational infographics (in downloadable PDF format) can be found on our Resources page.  Topics include women and men's health, HPV, colorectal screening and more!

Topic-specific educational programs are delivered throughout the year by experts in the field addressing topics relevant to cancer patients and survivors. Please bookmark this page and Like Us on Facebook to learn about upcoming events.

Many survivors and their families experience long-term physical, emotional, and practical needs resulting from cancer and cancer treatments that affect the quality of life. Programs address the needs of survivors and caregivers such as:

  • Educational programs addressing topics relevant to survivors such as nutrition, stress management, and anxiety to support long-term quality of life.
  • Cancer Thriving & Surviving Workshops – This 6-week, licensed program in self-management is proven to help cancer patients, survivors and caregivers learn to better manage the challenges to thriving. The curriculum covers issues experienced by many such as managing fatigue; pain and sleep; dealing with difficult emotions and relationships; staying active and communicating with providers, family and friends.
  • With over 16.9 million cancer survivors living in the United States today, managing the health care needs of cancer survivors can be complex, and requires a coordinated approach to care. Hunterdon Health combines the expertise of both primary care and specialty providers to improve the overall health and well-being of cancer survivors. Please see our Survivorship Resources.

The Hunterdon NJ Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED) program at the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center provides free cancer screenings to individuals who are:

  • uninsured or underinsured
  • do not have Medicare or Medicaid, or
  • are under the 250% NJ Income Guidelines
