The Hunterdon Health & Wellness Centers offer massage therapy, including prenatal and specialty massages, for members and non-members at Clinton and Whitehouse Station. Massages are available in 30, 60 and 90-minute sessions.
(15-minute massage sessions are also available for Members and Guests for $15.00. Special events only.)

Benefits of Massage Therapy
Alex began practicing Massage Therapy in 1988 after completing his degree of Medical Massage Therapist from Kiev Nursing School, Ukraine. Upon arriving in the United States, Alex also went on to complete his nursing degree and became licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Additionally, he holds the Master Level certification in Reiki Energy Healing.
Alex specializes in Therapeutic, Medical, and Sports Massage, basing his techniques on Russian Medical Massage. He combines aspects of the Russian Medical and Sports modalities with Deep Tissue, Swedish, Neuromuscular, and Trigger Point Therapy. His years of experience include working in conjunction with Physicians, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors, as well as providing massage therapy in rehabilitation programs at hospitals, and working with professional athletes.
Stephanie Ann Pappas has 30 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist. She enjoys integrating various techniques, and getting to know her clients well to offer unique and individualized sessions. She also has a specialty as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (PTSD body-oriented trauma resolution) which gives her in-depth knowledge of the nervous system and practicing trauma informed touch.
Stephanie has also taught yoga classes, teacher trainings, and workshops for 30 years and has certified over 350 yoga teachers. Stephanie has written and published 12 books on yoga, including a book on assisted stretching.
Christopher Sorenson is a licensed Massage Therapist and graduate of massage therapy from the Cortiva Institute of New Jersey. He began his training 20 years ago at the IPSB School of Somatic Bodywork in San Diego California. Christopher was interested in sports therapy wellness and expanded his education in muscular repatterning. He went on to gain expertise in understanding the Swedish circulatory system as well as the lymphatic system and work in deep tissue therapy.
Christopher has worked in various types of wellness centers around the country from the Wellness Spa in Coronado, California all the way to Namaste INC in New York. Most recently he has worked in New Jersey for Massage Envy and Harborside Sport and Spine as well as various clinics, with chiropractors. He is a NASM certified on-site athletic trainer, outcall therapist, as well as a fitness instructor. His current work also involves Myofascial Soft Tissue Release as well as Lymphatic Circulatory Techniques.
