Run, Walk, Volunteer to Fight Cancer!

Hunterdon Health Foundation and Main Street Half Marathon of Hunterdon are partnering to raise funds for and awareness of Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. The community is invited to join in for two days of events on October 21st and 22nd, all hosted at the Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton, NJ. The Main Street Expo and packet pickup will be held on Saturday, October 21st from 2 PM-5 PM. This kickoff to race weekend will feature brews from the expo presenting sponsor, Sunken Silo Brew Works, along with music and entertainment. Also starting at 2 PM is the Superhero Sprint, where little ones are welcome to wear their favorite costume and sprint through the Red Mill Museum Village. The Half Marathon and 4-miler will be held on Sunday, October 22nd. The Half Marathon begins at 8 AM; walkers may start at 7:30 AM. Celebrate the accomplishments and fundraising efforts of racers at the Finish Line Party at Hunt Mills Park from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.

Anyone, regardless of interest in running, can participate and provide incredible support to the Cancer Center's patients during the weekend-long event. Besides running/walking in the races, participants can ask friends and family to support them by fundraising through their own campaign as runners, walkers, cheering stations, or individually. Volunteers are welcome on the days of the events and can sign up below. Racers can be cheered on from the course or from home. Prizes will be available for the best cheerleaders! Also, consider supporting this cause by purchasing a customizable t-shirt or lawn sign to honor loved ones who have been touched by cancer or someone participating in the race.
